What’s Your 2020 Vision?

What’s Your 2020 Vision?

There’s less than 20 days left to this decade! Wow!

For several years, a simple exercise has helped me to become more successful in my business and to live a more meaningful and intentional life….

I find a quiet place where I reflect upon the year that is drawing to a close. I list  what I accomplished, obstacles I overcame, and what I wish to celebrate. I look not only at my business, but my personal life too. With this frame of reference in mind, I set my intentions for the year ahead.

During this final month of the year, I encourage you to set aside some quiet time to pause, reflect and review 2019 so as to create a picture for the best 2020 you can imagine. Here’s some questions that may help.

Write down your answers to the following questions. Take your time to really think about them:

  1. What were my successes?
  2. What did I achieve?
  3. What am I most proud of?
  4. What experiences touched me deeply?
  5. When did I have the most fun?
  6. What experiences were the most empowering?
  7. What were my major breakthroughs?
  8. What major obstacles did I overcome?
  9. What mistakes did I make/what lessons did I learn?
  10. What am I most grateful for?

Next, create a vision for 2020 with these assessments in mind. What do I want to do for:

  1. My body/mind/spirit?
  2.  My relationships?
  3. My home environment?
  4. My work/service?
  5. My finances?
  6. My growth/development?
  7. My fun, adventure, creative expression?
  8. In which areas of my life do I want to move forward in 2020?
  9. What challenges do I want to overcome?
  10. What specific goals do I want to achieve in 2020?

If you take the time to pause, review where you’ve been and get clear about where you are going, you’ll find that everything in your life will be richer and more fulfilling. The future is brighter and more beautiful than perhaps the way you’ve been thinking lately.

Let your mind be free and joyous. Be enthusiastic for what is to come. Have hope and be thankful you have this very moment and that you can still grow and learn and serve.

As I take time now to be with family far and away, I’m sending you and yours my love and very best wishes for a restful and nurturing festive season. May you find some time to centre, nurture and enrich your mind, body and soul. May the New Year be filled with goodness, meaning and fulfillment,

My 2020 Vision

As I look to the New Year, I will be changing things up. I’ll be dedicating significant blocks of time over the first 6 months of 2020 to write MY book – about my life, lessons and legacy. I think I have a bit to say…

I’ll also be reviewing how I may be of greatest service to YOU, and I’d really appreciate your help.

In order for me to continue to offer the very best of me, I’d like to know how I’ve contributed to your journey. How has my work impacted you and the way you lead your life? I’d really appreciate it if you would take a moment to pen a note, or type a response below, or even record a short video for me.

It gives me so much joy to know that who I am and what I offer is making a genuine positive difference in your world in some way.

I deeply THANK YOU for being on this journey with me, for sharing your time and attention, for your willingness to learn, stretch and grow, and for joining hearts as part of our humanity to show up each day as the best version of yourself. Keep going. Keep growing. I celebrate the year that was, the decade about to commence, and I celebrate YOU!

THANK YOU for your email and sharing your vision for 2020. It resonates with me because I am also on a journey of being coached, growing and developing personally and professionally. Starting up my business on the side of my real job is frightening and challenging but learning the positive mindsets and moving forward with gumption. I am still learning so much and looking forward to the future and what it will bring for me and my family and anyone that I connect and cross paths with. Looking forward to when your book comes out and will be excited to support you when that is launched. Good luck and take care. x
