Meditations
DCE Prep & Integration Meditation - I'd like you to start listening and attuning to regularly prior to our adventure together.
Twilight Dreaming Meditation - here’s another meditation I’ve prepared for you to encourage a regular evening meditation practice. This one will assist you in drifting off into the land of make believe and fantasy – where dreams can become reality. Have fun and enjoy this meditation. I suggest you could do the Embodying the 12 Universal Laws meditation weekly in the morning, and this one in the evening.
Release Fear or Anxiety Meditation - I’ve created this meditation called Release Fear & Anxiety which can be used any time as you embark on travels and beyond. It’s designed to restore and support you in embodying a sense of groundedness, inner peace and safety. Breathe. I’m very much looking forward to seeing you very soon.
Temple Dove Meditation - in preparation for visits to temples, imagining how magnificent these temples once were, taking a wonder-filled journey with a temple dove to release anxiety and receive blessings of faith and trust.
ArchAngel Michael ancient stone circle meditation - an evening meditation to know you are always safe and strong enough to create and realise your dreams.
Bless The World With Your Light - to remind you that what you believe can be achieved - your imagination holds the key. Do this often/daily to continue to feel peace and love, and to shine your light within (the flame of your heart) brightly.
I AM LIGHT mantra meditation - to create a sense of stillness, wellness and oneness. This is a powerful meditation that can be shared and experienced with others/groups to amplify the effect
Food & Drinks
Breakfasts are included in the price of your ticket to The Delphi Experience at the accomodation locations.
Lunches, Dinners, Snacks and alcoholic beverages are not included in your ticket price so please budget for this expense. During our daily agenda, we will have time for you to go out and get lunch (either from a cafe or supermarket) and there are multiple dinner options for you to choose from. You’ll have opportunities to buy snacks and drinks throughout the day as well.
We’ll likely do dinners together and pay separately or you can have some time to yourself - whatever you need on the day.
There is a small fridge and storage space in your room, so please bring any special food and drinks with you. It's your responsibility to ensure you are properly hydrated so please bring an insulated water bottle and keep it topped up for regular sipping.
Don't forget to pack any medication, supplements or emergency items you may need.
International Travel & Health
Please ensure that you understand your own passport and visa requirements (if any) for Greece and any other countries you are visiting or transiting through. It is your sole responsibility to organise adequate travel insurance ASAP. Along with the above, your flights, transfers and transportation are your responsibility, solely. Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to help out.
I recommend setting up alerts and an account on Smart Traveller too! https://www.smartraveller.gov.
Check with your health practitioner if you have any concerns about travelling, vaccinations, preventative action and emergency plans. If you have any relevant health conditions I should be aware of, please let me know ASAP.
If you are travelling internationally, it's also a good idea to have some options to access your money and also data/sim for mobile phones where necessary. Wifi will be available at the accommodation but phone calls are your responsibility.
In case of emergency while you're away from home, it's really important that I can contact someone. Please ensure you've filled in the intake form so I've got your emergency contact information.
Medical & Emergency
-
Check with your regular practitioner about any vaccinations or other medical considerations you may need to take into account well before you leave.
-
Make sure you bring with you any medicines you may need (extra in case of emergency) + scripts / letters from your health practitioner as required.
-
The areas we will be staying in are very popular tourist locations and there are well-equipped medical facilities in case you need them. If you have any serious illnesses or allergies, please let Josie know.
-
Ensure you've filled in the intake form with your emergency contact details in case I need to get in touch with someone at home. It's also a good idea to leave a copy of your travel details and records with someone at home too.
-
In the event of an emergency while we're in Greece, our #1 priority will be on personal safety. We have contacts in-country who will assist us, as well as a good network of trustworthy drivers and staff - you are in good hands!
Transport In Greece
Transfer from the airport (or your other accommodation) to the hotel in Athens upon arrival for the commencement of DCE is included in your fee.
While in Greece, we have several planned activities which we'll travel in an airconditioned bus with a guide and professional driver. These trips are included in the price of your retreat.
Money
There are lots of places to get cash out in Greece but I recommend bringing some with you from home. Please exchange AUD for Euro before you leave home.
You can expect your main expenses to be:
- Return transfer to airport
- Taxis / public transport in free time
- Dinners, lunches, drinks and snacks
- Spending money for general items and tips
If you choose to bring a larger sum of cash, there are safes at the hotels to keep your money and passports secure. If you'd prefer to bring a smaller amount of cash and bring a travel card to draw cash from an ATM I like Wise, alternatively there are some other Australian banks that offer great options for debit cards with NO international fees.
Remember: before you leave, if you're using your regular bank card, to let your bank/s know that you'll be in Greece (and any other country you’re stopping in) so your card isn’t frozen or cancelled because it looks like unusual activity.
Sims & Wifi
Our accommodation has WiFi but it's always helpful when travelling with a group to be able to contact each other. I'd recommend buying an eSIM before you leave. An eSIM will allow you to have internet connection while travelling so you can stay connected while overseas, and is often cheaper than your carriers roaming charges. I often buy my eSIM before I leave from Airalo, but there are also other providers available online. Regular sims will also be available at the airport once you land. Please research which options are best for you.
Let your mobile provider know you're going overseas if you need to, and check your 'roaming' settings so you don't get home to a nasty bill.
While in Greece, you can contact Josie on FB Messenger, email, or WhatsApp (+61 407175980).
Staying Connected
To enhance your journey and ensure a seamless experience, we’ve created two dedicated WhatsApp group chats for all attendees. These groups will help you stay informed, connect with fellow travelers, and make the most of this transformative experience.
1. Attendee Connection Group
This group is a space for all attendees to introduce themselves, share their excitement, and get to know each other before the trip begins. Feel free to ask questions, discuss travel plans, and build connections with your fellow Delphi Cave Experience travelers. This is your space to engage, support, and inspire each other!

How To Prepare
- Embrace curiosity and openness to new experiences. Let go or drop any and all expectations and allow the journey to unfurl in mysterious and wonder-filled ways.
- Consider setting personal intentions and journaling your thoughts.
- Practice mindfulness, and listen to the pre-recorded meditations that I'll send to you. These will also be posted in the WhatsApp group - these are designed to clear your mind and boost your awareness.
- Learn a few basic Greek phrases to enhance your interaction and deepen your connection with local culture (see below).
- Rewatch the video on how to dance the zorba - this could come in handy while we are over there!
- Reflect on the rich history and mystery surrounding Delphi.
- Visualise the journey ahead as both an inner exploration and a physical adventure. Keep your mind open and allow the adventure to simply begin...
- Ensure you’re comfortable with moderate walking and occasional climbing.
- Start incorporating light cardio or stretching exercises into your routine before departure.
- Prioritise comfortable, layered clothing suitable for variable weather.
- Invest in sturdy, supportive footwear as the terrain can be uneven. Bring a torch.
- Stay well-hydrated leading up to the trip and pack a reusable water bottle (Νερό – Water).
- Bring energy snacks like nuts or dried fruits to keep your energy up during the adventure. I found a supermarket when I arrived in Athens last year, and stocked up on yummy snacks and water prior to the trip to Delphi. There are limited retail opportunities in Delphi.
